Health Guarantee

Playful Paws guarantee the puppy/dog against fatal viruses for three (3) days from parting from our care. This includes Parvo, Corona Virus and Distemper. The Purchaser(s) must call Playful Lab Paws immediately upon the first sign of illness. The Purchaser(s) must take the puppy/dog to its/their Veterinarian to determine if any of the viruses mentioned above are present in the puppy/dog. If the puppy/dog is diagnosed with any of the viruses mentioned above, Playful Lab Paws will reimburse the Purchaser of the your original cost of the puppy/dog only. We will not reimburse for any shipping costs. If for any reasons during the term of the two years of age of this Health Guarantee Playful Lab Paws gives a refund for the purchase of the puppy/dog, this contract will automatically become null and void. We will make no other refunds beyond the purchase price. The Purchaser must have the puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within the first three (3) days of the date of the sale. A complete check is required.

Kim Bollen and Harold Bollen, owners of Playful Paws is covered by a replacement contract if the puppy/dog should be diagnosed with the following genetic defect: Hip Displasia (not caused by over weight). If this condition is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within the first two years of the puppy/dog’s life, a representative of Playful Lab Paws reserves the right to contact the said veterinarian to obtain copies of documents which determined the diagnosis. Playful Lab Paws also reserves the right to obtain at their choice, an opinion from a licensed veterinarian at the Purchaser’s expense. These conditions are only covered for up to two years of age:

*Hip Displasia - We recommend having your Labrador Retriever X-rayed at the age of 2 years. Any problems caused by accident or injury will NOT be covered in this Health Guarantee.

If any of the above listed covered health issues are present within two years of age, Playful Lab Paws agree to either of the following remedies: (Breeders choice)

We will replace the puppy/dog with another puppy/dog of equal value as soon as the next suitable replacement becomes available and will keep the sick puppy/dog purchased. We will not reimburse any medical cost for said puppy/dog while in the care of the Purchaser(s). There will be no refund in lieu of a replacement puppy/dog; OR

We will allow Purchaser(s) to keep the above named puppy/dog and the Purchaser must spay/neuter said puppy/dog and present proof of said dog having been spayed/neutered. Once completed, we will replace the puppy/dog with another puppy of equal value from the next suitable litter. We will not reimburse any medical cost for said puppy/dog while in the care of Purchaser. There will be no refund in lieu of a replacement puppy/dog.
